The Ultrium 960 delivers a capacity of 800 GB of compressed data on a single cartridge. With the storage industry fastest data transfer rate of 160MB/sec, the Ultrium 960 is the best HP solution for enterprise servers and small hard drive arrays, particularly where the backup window is shrinking. The Ultrium 960 tape drive is fully read and write compatible with second-generation Ultrium data cartridges, and offers a further degree of investment protection through its backward-read compatibility with first-generation Ultrium media.
